Top News and Magazines Apps on Android in Lithuania Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the top news and magazines applications on the Android platform in Lithuania showed varied performance trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

LRT.lt, developed by Lietuvos nacionalinis radijas ir televizija, experienced a notable peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 3.1K in mid-May. This period also saw a consistent growth in weekly active users, climbing from around 36.2K at the start of the quarter to 45.6K by the end.

X (Formerly Twitter) displayed a slight fluctuation in weekly revenue, peaking at $397 in mid-May. The app maintained a steady download rate, with a noticeable increase towards the end of June, reaching 401 downloads. Active users saw a decline initially but rebounded to about 30.9K by the quarter's close.

Hindi News by Dainik Bhaskar kept a steady pace in downloads, averaging around 150 weekly by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a modest increase, ending the period at approximately 3.5K.

Way2News Daily News App maintained consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight peak at 118 downloads in late April. Active user figures remained stable, averaging around 8.2K weekly.

Substack saw a varied download trend with peaks in late May and June, reaching 170 downloads. The app's active user count fluctuated but ended the quarter with a slight increase, averaging around 1.6K.
